Yesterday's Outfit (AIFW)

Yesterday I wore this outfit. Kinda simple (all black) with a twist.

Ok you have to admit.. this one is kinda funny :p Today I had a GREAT day at the Amsterdam International Fashion Week! I went to different shows and LOVED it! I'll show you a better picture of what I wore and some snapshots of the show later on, now I'm exhausted, just want to go to bed.. But I can't, I still have to finish my paper! Nighty night, y'all!

New Find!

I try to persist in just buying things I really want in stead of things I just come across. I have been looking for a pair of overknee-boots that actually reach my upper-leg, who are truly 'over-my-knees'. Today I did! Hurray! But the little dull bimbo behind the pay desk forgot to remove the alarm-tag.. I think she was too busy chewing her gum, chatting to her not-so-clever-too friends and eating her hair (?! yes, she did!) she didn't notice there are such things as alarm-tags on the shoes they're selling.. :p Okay, without the corny utterances: I'll go back to the store and ask them to remove the tag. What do you think of my new boots? (The big lump at my ass is not my ass :p It's a shadow, just in case you didn't notice lol :p)

Tomorrow I will be going to the Amsterdam International Fashion Week (AMFI)! I'm so excited! But: I still don't have a clue what to wear.. I think I'll play a little safe and rock some black leather pants, black tunic (supposed to be a dress, but not if you're 1.80m) and a big-shouldered blazer.. Combined with some black leather heeled, studded ankle boots. What do you think? Ofcourse I'll post an outfitpicture of what I was wearing afterwards.

Hurray hurray, bought this jacket today!

Bought this jacket a while ago, but haven't shown it ever since. I had been looking for a pilot-esk leather jacket for a while, but without the masculine shape. Seemed to be a tough job, but finally I found this one :) Slightly different from what I usually wear, but sometimes one has to change ;) The jacket is made of extremely soft leather. Also bought some black high heeled Zara boots, will take pictures of them later on.

Further, today I received my Topshop-order! The leatherpants are lovely! They fit like a glove ;) But on the other side.. the sequined pants look rediculous on me! Waaaay too short and the fit wasn't really doing that much good for my figure. I'll sell it, so if you're interested, you can e-mail me (bo-bo-bo-bo-bo@hotmail.com) or leave a message. It's a size 12 (European size 40 (38)).

Today's Outfit

This is what I am wearing today. I really don't know why tinypic always seem to destroy my face haha lol. I think tinypic hates me :p Today I will finally deliver my paper, work sooo hard on it, hopefully it turns out to be alright.

One can always wish..

I still want these sooo badly.. They're basic, yet interesting. Simple, but gorgeous. They'll fit my wardrobe perfectly.. *sigh..

Black is the new black..

Ain't that true? I slighty adjusted my H&M order, since it still hasn't been processed after I placed my order. I remover several things and added that black top. Hopefully they will attend to it soon. After this order I promissed myself to achieve a more colourful wardrobe for the summer to come. Not canarie-like, but yet more cheerful. Or at least some brighter colors.. You know what I mean ;)

Tiny Topshop Tic

I placed a little Topshop order. I already received the leatherlook pants, but unfortunately they turned out te be too big.. so I ordered a smaller size! Further, for 7 pounds I thought it was a nice opportunity to try these sequined pants.. I'm curious 'bout the fit.. we'll see :) I'll keep you posted!

Yesterday's outfit

I think I must be named queen of ugly pictues.. but hey! At least I have one ;) Yesterday was a very cold day (just like the past few weeks ánd the weeks te come ;)) so I layered a lot to keep me warm. Today I had my first appointment for my internship with some students and their parents and teachers to talk about their problem behaviour and how to deal with it, kinda exciting! I was a litte nervous, but after a while I was able to keep that under control and did what I have been studying for for a long time! Finally some practical experience! I spoke to some adolescents with several kinds of developmental disorders, autism, and attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder. Such an instructive and interesting day! :) How about yours? :)

Shoe Porn

Oops, I did it again. I confess. But admit the truth: these boots are not made to overtake. Not for me. Not now. Not.. ever :p Haha. Love them, but from now on I'll try to convince myself I don't need any more shoes. I'll keep my fingers crossed for that, lol.
About the shoes: Both Topshop boots (the zebra-printed Emma Cooks and Acid high heeled ones) are quite narrowly sized, but I think they'll enlarge a little during wearing them (or.. I hope so!). The studded boots are just lovely.. unfortunately these are one or two sizes too big, but I'll be able to fix that with insoles and several pairs of socks, lol.

Another Today's Outfit

Not the best photographs I ever took.. but still an outfit. It seems that Tinypic squeezed my face at the second picture lol :p Today I'm wearing jeans! I can't even remember the last time I actually wore jeans! They make me feel like I look fat, I feel more comfortable in skirts and dresses these days.. Anyhow, I have been losing some weight lately, which I hope it will stop me from thinking I can't wear jeans.. :$

Today's Outfit

This picture was taken a while ago, but today I wore the same outfit. Very very comfortable and easy-going. This week I started my internship as an ambulant companion at a school in Utrecht, where I live. This school arranges social assistence to children with all sorts of problem behaviour, impairments and disorders. As you can tell, kinda busy week and many more of them to come! Hope I'll be able to keep on posting as much as I was before (or even more ofcourse ;)).

Furthermore, lovely lady Bo (funny, my nickname is Lady Bo ;)) mentioned me on her blog. Thanks girl, I really appreciate it :)

New Finds <3

Did some online shopping today. I love sale, haha. I wanted the suede ankleboots for a while, but when I decided to really get them, I couldn't find them anymore. Too bad. When I saw them online a moment ago, I couldn't withhold myself from ordering them. In both colours, 'cause I couldn't sort out which I preferred.

Outfit - Miss Selfridge overknees

Crappy pictures, Make-upless-sleepy-head, simple outfit, but: gorgeous boots, in my opinion though. I received my boots the day before I went to Risoul, so I wasn't able to wear them (they're comfortable, but not at snowy mountaintops ;)). Now I am! Unfortunately I'm forced to wear flat boots when I go outside, because of the slippery sidewalks in my town. I think I'll stay inside ;)

Home Sweet Home

NOT! I wish I was still in Risoul, snowboarding my ass off ; But okay, it also feels good to be home (had a terrible journey home, so much snow, so terribly minimal sight!). Last week I had such a splendid week in Risoul, France with 19 other friends.. Unfortunately I got the fever at NYE - not that glamourous - and stayed in bed that night. Have you guys had a great NYE? Tell me! :)

Today I'll be staying at home, wearing an Adidas Originals tracksuit (lovely, but not that worth having a peek at) and Uggs (idem dito). The weather outsite is very fairy-like, so many I'll kick my ass out of my bed and walk a little tramp through the snowy parks.
